Common questions
How do I write a chapter?
Open My Memories and answer one question at a time, in your own words. When you are done the app writes the chapter for you, with the lesson it taught and a question for your family to answer. You can edit every word afterwards.
Who can read my book?
You decide. A book is private when you start it. You can invite family to read, keep a chapter private, share it with the people you invited, or make it public with a link.
Do I have to pay to use it?
Every book has a free allowance of AI calls each day, and reading, typing, editing and posting reflections never use one. Paid plans add more calls; they are described under Credits in Settings.
How do I report something or block someone?
Any chapter, reflection or contribution written by someone else has a Report option. Choose a reason and send it — we review reports within 24 hours. Next to it, Block stops that person's words from appearing to you. You can undo a block in Settings under Account.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings, then Delete my account. That removes your account and the book in it.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in page choose Forgot password and we will email you a link to set a new one.
Something is not working.
Write to us with what you were doing and what you saw. A screenshot helps, and we answer on weekdays.
